Sherri Shepherdâs daytime talk show has been canceled after four seasons, Lionsgateâs Debmar-Mercury confirms to PEOPLE on Monday, Feb. 2.
âThis decision is driven by the evolving daytime television landscape and does not reflect on the strength of the show, its production â which has found strong creative momentum this season â or the incredibly talented Sherri Shepherd,â Debmar-Mercury co-presidents Ira Bernstein and Mort Marcus says in a statement to PEOPLE. âWe believe in this show and in Sherri and intend to explore alternatives for it on other platforms.â
PEOPLE has reached out to Shepherd's representative.
Sherri is filmed at Chelsea Studios in New York City. Production on the showâs fourth season will continue, with the last episodes set to air this fall.
Shepherdâs talk show launched in September 2022 following her brief return to The View and her guest-hosting of The Wendy Williams Show. Shepherd, 58, won a Daytime Emmy in 2009 for The View, where she was a full-time co-host from 2007 to 2014.
"I've always dreamed about this," Shepherd told PEOPLE in 2022 after her own show was announced. "I always wanted something where I could make people laugh, that's always been my why, to make people feel good."

Earlier on Monday, Kelly Clarkson announced that her own daytime talkshow, The Kelly Clarkson Show, would be ending after seven seasons. She cited prioritizing her children â River Rose, 11, and Remington Alexander, 9 â in her decision to step away.
âI have been extremely fortunate to work with such an outstanding group of people at âThe Kelly Clarkson Show,' both in Los Angeles and New York,â Clarkson, 43, wrote in a statement published on Instagram.
âThere have been so many amazing moments and shows over these seven seasons,â Clarkson continued. âI am forever grateful and honored to have worked alongside the greatest band and crew you could hope for, all the talent and inspiring people who have shared their time and lives with us, all the fans who have supported our show and to NBC for always being such a supportive and incredible partner."
