Meghan Markle responded on Instagram after Patrick J. Adams joked about not receiving jam from her lifestyle brand

Adams revealed on the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast this week that he didn't receive the Duchess of Sussex's signature jam

Writing back online, Meghan said that jams were on the way to Adams and his family

Meghan Markle posted a rare comment to Instagram after her Suits costar Patrick J. Adams revealed that he didn't receive jam from her lifestyle brand.

On April 2, the Duchess of Sussex chimed in with a comment below an Instagram video shared by Not Skinny But Not Fat. The clip was a snippet of host Amanda Hirsch chatting with Meghan's Suits love interest, where Adams shared that, unlike Hirsch, he was not sent any As ever jam.

"Jams en route for you @patrickjadams & @sleepinthegardn," the Duchess of Sussex wrote online in response, tagging her former costar as well as Adams' wife, Troian Bellisario.

"Hugs to those beautiful babies. Send my love to your mom ā¤ļø," Meghan continued, shouting out the couple's three daughters, Aurora, 7, Elliot, 4, and Imogen, 2 months, and Adams' mother.

Adams, 44, chatted about the Duchess of Sussex on the March 31 episode of the Not Skinny But Not Fat podcast, in a clip exclusively shared by PEOPLE.

The subject of jam came up when Hirsch asked The Madison star if Meghan, 44, had ever given him a handwritten note, because she received a letter featuring the Duchess of Sussex's signature calligraphy (which Adams called "impeccable handwriting) along with the jam she sent her in March 2025.

"You got a jam? I didn't get a jam," Adams shared as they discussed the subject.

"How was the jam? Be real… We should taste the jam. We should crack it open," he joked, and Hirsch agreed that she "should have brought it" to their interview.

Jam has become a signature item from Meghan's lifestyle line, which she unveiled as American Riviera Orchard in 2024. She sent American Riviera Orchard jams to friends, including Kris Jenner, Chrissy Teigen, Mindy Kaling, Tracy Robbins, Suits costar Abigail Spencer and more, that spring, but announced in February 2025 that she had renamed her lifestyle venture to As ever.

A few weeks after season one of her lifestyle series With Love, Meghan, premiered on Netflix, Meghan's first As ever product line, including fruit jams, flower sprinkles, baking mixes and teas, became available to shop.

Today, As ever features fruit spreads in raspberry, orange marmalade and strawberry varietals and the lifestyle line has expanded to include other products such as honey, wine and candles.

Exclusively speaking to PEOPLE in 2025, the Duchess of Sussex clarified that she didn't identify as an influencer as she launched her business.

"I see myself as an entrepreneur and a female founder, and if the brand ends up influential, then that’s great," she told PEOPLE.

Meghan's latest Instagram comment — a rare message from her personal handle — promised that soon Adams will have the chance to try her signature jam, too.

The pair played colleagues and love interests on Suits during the drama's original run on USA Today Network during its first seven seasons, which aired from 2011 to 2018.

Shortly after she and Prince Harry announced their engagement in November 2017, Meghan stepped back from the show and said in their BBC engagement interview that she would no longer be acting.

"I don’t see it as giving anything up. I just see it as a change," Meghan said then. "It’s a new chapter, right? And also, keep in mind, I’ve been working on [Suits] for seven years. We were very, very fortunate to have that sort of longevity on a series. I’ve ticked this box, and I feel very proud of the work I’ve done there, and now it’s time to work with [Harry] as a team."

Suits had a renaissance when it hit Netflix for the first time in the summer of 2023, reaching a whole new audience years after it concluded with the season 9 finale in 2019.

When asked to share her thoughts on what sparked the phenomenon at Variety's Power of Women event in November 2023, the Duchess of Sussex said, "I have no idea. It was great to work on, such a great cast and crew. We had a really fun time… Good shows are everlasting."
