The OG *Jurassic Park* trio are back together again — this time for the Super Bowl.

Sam Neill, Laura Dern, and Jeff Goldblum appear in the first Big Game spot from Comcast's Xfinity. The actors return to their roles of Alan Grant, Ellie Sattler, and Ian Malcolm, respectively, that they originated in Steven Spielberg's 1993 classic.

** has an exclusive look at the extended commercial, which was directed by Oscar winner Taika Waititi (*Thor: Ragnarok*, *Jojo Rabbit*). (A shorter version will air during the Super Bowl.) Waititi worked with Neill on 2016's *Hunt for the Wilderpeople*.

In connection with the company's "Xfinity Imagine That" brand platform, the ad will run during the Big Game on Sunday and will reimagine the plot of *Jurassic Park*. Instead of Dennis Nedry (Wayne Knight) completely dismantling the theme park's security systems and letting the dinosaurs out of their cages, Xfinity's Wi-Fi saves the day. So rather than spending the rest of the film running from prehistoric beasts, the gang can actually enjoy the park.

Neill and Goldblum recreate the moment in the movie when they're parked in the rain in front of the T. rex pen. "I think we're back in business," Dern's Ellie says as a twist on her original line. "Guys, that could have been bad."

Of course, there's gotta be a "life finds a way" moment, which comes as Goldblum's Ian is later lounging by the resort's pool and commenting on the Wi-Fi connection.

Comcast worked in conjunction with Universal Entertainment and Amblin Entertainment to incorporate the famous film score from five-time Oscar winner John Williams, visual effects from Industrial Light & Magic, and original production materials to recreate costumes and set designs.

The last time we saw Neill, Dern, and Goldblum back in these roles together was *Jurassic World Dominion*, the 2022 film featuring Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard. The most recent franchise entry, last year's *Jurassic World Rebirth*, included a callout to Neill's paleontologist character, Dr. Alan Grant; Jonathan Bailey's Dr. Henry Loomis studied under him.

“This Sunday, while millions of people watch the Big Game on NBC and Peacock, we’ll be reimagining one of the most iconic moments in movie history,” Jon Gieselman, Chief Growth Officer of Connectivity and Platforms at Comcast, said in a statement. “By asking what *Jurassic Park* could have been with Xfinity’s fast, secure wifi, we’re creating a fun, cultural crossover only Comcast NBCUniversal could deliver, combining blockbuster storytelling with real-world technology that protects, connects, and powers millions of customers every day.”

In a separate statement, David O’Connor, the Chief Brand Officer at Universal Entertainment, noted how the *Jurassic* franchise "captured the imagination of audiences around the world" for more than three decades. "By combining the timeless characters and iconic moments of the original film with modern technology, we’re celebrating the legacy of *Jurassic Park* while introducing it to a new generation," he said.

Xfinity will bring additional activations to San Francisco throughout the week, including select *Jurassic Park*-inspired Lyft vehicles, dinosaur projections on the Hobart Building, a motion-sensing T. rex billboard at 901 Market Street, and Universal Orlando Resort’s baby raptor and a *Jurassic Park* ranger roaming the city.
