Jerry Seinfeld encountered fan criticism after being confronted by a streamer on the streets following the Knicks' dramatic Game 4 comeback on June 10.

The 72-year-old comedian was leaving Madison Square Garden in Manhattan on Wednesday evening after the game when a streamer asked him to say "Free Palestine" on camera.

He responded with a laugh and a blunt three-word answer. This comes as Ben Stiller was branded "clueless" as he admitted he never pays to go to the Knicks or is a season ticket holder.

The footage rapidly spread across social media, with fans denouncing the 90s sitcom star's comments.

The New York-born entertainer had previously sparked controversy after drawing comparisons between the Free Palestine movement and the Ku Klux Klan.

Jerry was seen courtside backing the New York Knicks during Game 4 of the NBA Finals alongside fellow celebrities, including Ben Stiller, Timothée Chalamet, Spike Lee, Adam Sandler, Larry David, and Taylor Swift.

As he navigated through the crowd outside the iconic arena, the streamer, known as FinesseFave on Kick, approached him and asked, "What up, Seinfeld? What up? Can we get a 'Free Palestine'?".

Jerry, recognized for his unwavering support of Israel, responded to the livestreamer's request with a chuckle and three words: "It doesn't exist."

The streamer posted the video to his 180,000 TikTok followers, with the caption, "Clown hasn't been relevant in decades anyway."

Fans quickly criticized Jerry's comment on social media, with one declaring, "The worst possible answer. Disgusting," while another agreed, "Saying Palestine doesn't exist is beyond disgusting."

One fan commented, "Saying 'Palestine doesn't exist' is genocidal language. Beyond vile."

A third person responded to the billionaire comedian's remarks, "Jerry has had 'rich old guy lives in a bubble' brain for a while but this is just mask off. Also wild how celebs think they're untouchable, then act shocked when a whole new generation that doesn't worship them is like... yeah actually you suck now."

Another individual stated, "Love his show, but damn, that's a pretty dumb thing to say."

Jerry, famous for his role in the 1990s sitcom Seinfeld, has been an outspoken advocate for Israel, publicly identifying as a Zionist amid the ongoing genocide in the West Bank.

This is not the first instance of Jerry facing backlash for his steadfast position on the Israel-Palestine situation.

Last year, while exiting Madison Square Garden following a Knicks game, a protester filmed themselves confronting him about supporting the genocide of babies in Gaza, to which he responded, "Only you."

He also drew criticism in February 2025 for stating "I don't care about Palestine" while posing for a selfie with a fan.
