Eva Amurri is reflecting on her year of transformation.
In an Instagram post shared on Tuesday, Dec. 30, the Happily Eva After blogger looked back on the "peak" moments of 2025, including her breast reduction surgery.
Kicking off her Instagram carousel, the 40-year-old — who is the daughter of Susan Sarandon and Franco Amurri — wrote that she made the "huge decision" to have the augmentation in January since it was a procedure she wanted to have for "over 20 years."

After reducing her breast size from 32F to a 32C in the spring, Amurri added that in May, the results of her surgery were "finally settling in" and that the "hardest parts" of her recovery were behind her.
"I was suddenly feeling like I was in the right body for me since I hit puberty. It was like starting a whole new chapter of my life," she wrote across a sultry photo of herself in a bra and underwear.

Amurri has been transparent about her plastic surgery journey, from the ups to the downs. And in an April blog posted titled "Bye Bye, Boobies," she detailed the contrasting emotions she felt while living with a larger chest.
"From the outside, it can seem glamorous, sexy, and fun (and when you’re naked, it can be!) but having extremely large breasts can not only affect you physically but also mentally," she wrote. "It can make you extremely self-conscious and insecure. They hurt your back, they’re hard to clothe, and most importantly: you can’t take them off and take a break. That’s been the hardest part."
She also opened up about the affects pregnancy and nursing had on her body, especially when her chest would grow to G/E cup sizes. "As I went through my motherhood journey, my breast size increased and decreased. I would grow much bigger during pregnancy, and then shrivel to almost half the size when I was done breastfeeding. The yo-yo-ing size contributed to drooping and sagging," wrote Amurri, who is a mom of three.

On April 18, she posted a post-op Instagram update about her limited mobility, bruising, and the "guilt" she was feeling for resting. But “I will tell you, though, that the girls are looking real good,” she shared in another post. “I don’t think I ever had boobs that looked this good, even when I was like, 18. So…worth it.”
A year before her surgery, Amurri wed chef Ian Hock on June 29, 2024. The Hudson Valley, New York ceremony was picture-perfect, but the New Girl star faced criticism for her choice of dress — a strapless Kim Kassas gown with a low scoop neckline. In a recap of her and Hock's special day, Amurri came in defense of her wedding day gown, writing on her Instagram Stories, "to anyone scandalized by my breasts not being 'put away' ...."
"Feel free to screenshot this for later," Amurri added over a zoomed-in shot of her chest with a kissy face emoji.
