The post-Tom Brady years have allowed NFL fans to get used to life without the New England Patriots.
Not anymore.
Drake Maye and Mike Vrabel have revived the franchise, positioning them as contenders in a suddenly open AFC playoff race. It's not an easy pill for rivals to swallow, but reality can sometimes be a difficult thing to cope with.
They skipped plenty of stops in the rebuild, jumping right back into contention. Now, New England is geared up for an exciting road to the finish.
It'll be a long week for those who enjoy the Patriots' resurgence, and a fun one for those who would prefer the opposite. One thing is for sure, however.
